We are a multi-discipline forensic metallurgy and materials engineering consulting firm specializing in failure analysis (fractures, failures, damage, corrosion) of metals and non-metals. FEI metallurgists and investigators have testified before U.S. Senate subcommittees, won a prestigious national award, and appeared on CBS 60 Minutes, in different matters.
Extensive FEI experience includes the mid-air explosion of TWA Flight 800 over Long Island, N.Y., other aviation disasters including the crash of UAL Flight 585 near Colorado Springs, CO; the nations worst train derailment (Sunset Limited) near Mobile, AL; Sudafed & Girl Scout Cookie product tampering; U.S.S.
